Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I book an appointment?
You can book through my [booking link/contact form] or emailing me directly at alisonlenaytattoo@gmail.com. Once you submit your idea, I’ll review it and get back to you with details, pricing, and available dates. A deposit is required to secure your spot.

2. Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to hold your appointment time. It goes toward the final cost of your tattoo and ensures I can dedicate the time to designing your piece. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable if you need to reschedule with proper notice.

3. How much do tattoos cost?
Pricing depends on size, placement, and detail. I’ll give you an estimate once I know more about your design idea. I typically work by the piece or by hourly rate for larger projects.

4. How should I prepare for my tattoo session?
Get a good night’s rest, eat a solid meal, and stay hydrated. Avoid alcohol or blood-thinning medications the day before. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

5. Does it hurt?
Pain levels vary depending on placement and individual tolerance. Most clients describe the sensation as irritating more than unbearable. I’ll make sure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout the process.

6. How do I take care of my new tattoo?
I’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment. Generally, it involves keeping the area clean, moisturized, and protected while it heals. Avoid swimming, direct sun, and picking at the tattoo during healing.

7. Can you touch up or cover an old tattoo?
Yes! Depending on the existing tattoo, I can either refresh it with new details or create a design that fully covers it. This will require a consultation to ensure the previous tattoo can be effectively covered. We’ll go over your options during the consultation.

8. Do you do custom designs?
Absolutely. Most of my work is custom, created specifically for each client’s vision. I’ll take your ideas, references, and inspiration to design a unique piece of art just for you.
